Zoho has rolled out the Q1 2026 update for Zoho CRM with several significant improvements that directly impact how sales teams work.
Workqueue: one overview of everything that matters
The biggest introduction is Workqueue — a centralised view that shows sales staff what needs attention today. No more endless switching between modules: tasks, open leads, contacts to call, and deals up for renewal are all in one place.
This is particularly valuable for teams managing multiple trajectories simultaneously. Priorities are immediately visible, and staff can take action directly from the Workqueue.
Smart Prompts: AI context directly in your records
Smart Prompts have been significantly extended in this update. They are now accessible from any CRM record and deliver context-aware insights such as: - Summaries of previous conversations with the prospect - Quick status updates per record - Personalised suggestions for emails and notes
The Smart Prompts can leverage Zia (Zoho's own AI) but also support external LLMs — companies can choose which AI model best fits their needs.
Zia Formula Expression Generator
Also new is the Zia Formula Expression Generator: describe in plain language which formula you need, and Zia builds the complete formula expression that you can then review and insert into formula fields. This saves a lot of time when configuring custom fields.
